Dominique Thomas is a grassroots organizer, Afrofuturist, trainer and researcher based in Harlem, New York. She works in the climate movement and enjoys building community with Black people. In her free time, Dominique enjoys reading Black feminist writings + Octavia Butler, running along the Hudson River and cooking vegan meals.
What does black joy look like to you?
Black joy is everything. It is all possibilities at once. It is having the space to experience the expansiveness of what it means to be Black without fear of having our light dimmed.
